KINDERMUSIK for AGES Birth to 4:

Children thrive on music. It’s one of the best vehicles for learning in early childhood development.
Led by Ginna Macdonald, PMAC’s Licensed Kindermusik Instructor, the Kindermusik curriculum
is designed for your child’s age, development and abilities!

Why Kindermusik?
When young children are consistently engaged by music in an
age-appropriate, socially accepting environment, they benefit at many levels:

Reading. They gain the phonological processing, spoken language,
and comprehension skills that are the foundation of reading.

Quantitative. They build the spatial-temporal and reasoning skills
required for math, science, and engineering.

Social. They develop social and emotional skills that are essential
for school readiness—like the ability to regulate their responses
and relate to others in complex ways.

Physical. By moving and dancing to music and playing simple
instruments, children improve their gross and fine motor skills.

Creative. Activities that encourage freedom within a fun and friendly structure spark their creativity.

SUZUKI VIOLIN for AGES 3 - 6

Shinichi Suzuki believed that “Musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability which can be developed. Any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability, just as all children develop the ability to speak their own language. The potential of every child is unlimited.” PMAC is proud to introduce the Suzuki Violin program with Certified Suzuki Violin instructor, Gianna Alden. Students may choose between
a weekly group class or a weekly private lesson and monthly group classes with other private students.

TRADITIONAL APPROACH SUZUKI VIOLIN:
Private Lessons & Monthly Group Class for Beginners
For any beginner student, private instruction sets the foundation for life
long learning on an instrument. Group or Ensemble instruction complements
private instruction by teaching students how to work together through playing
music. The Traditional Suzuki approach provides students both of the
opportunities from the beginning with weekly private lessons and monthly
group classes with other young Suzuki students. Parent involvement is an
essential part of this curriculum and is required in both the lesson and
monthly group classes.
For students age 3 - 6, beginner level, with a parent/caregiver
Instructor: Gianna Alden
Private Lesson Availability: For details, please call the PMAC Office at 603.431.4278.
