DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY 101 with David J. Murray
Students will learn to capture, manage, post process and present high-quality digital photographs. This course will cover the essential concepts and skills used in modern digital photography for people who want to go beyond “point-and-shoot” and
cell phone results. Learn the secrets to: shooting well with a DSLR or mirrorless camera, managing and processing photos with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, and presenting images online and in print. Material will range from general concepts that provide the “why” of what is being taught, to specific techniques used in a variety of common situations. As much as is practical based on class size, the instructor will meet each student where they are and help them advance their skills to the next level. Participants are required to have their own digital camera and a laptop computer with Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop they can bring to class.
For Beginner to Intermediate teens & adults.
DATES: Tuesdays, 7-9pm, January 31 – March 14 (no class on during PMAC’s February break)
