In May of 2022 I gave a TED talk at TEDxPortsmouth. It was an opportunity for me to share my experience with the New Horizons Band program at PMAC, and the many benefits of the program above and beyond playing music. It’s been nearly twenty years since I launched the Portsmouth New Horizons Band and the program continues to thrive. It’s an amazing way to become part of a musical and social community.
