Artists who want their work to be considered for exhibition should email a link to their professional website to gallery@pmaconline.org

The website should include:
At least 10 images from a cohesive body of work made in the last 12 months

  1. Artist Statement
  2. List of Exhibitions

Please note that PMAC is a non-profit educational organization for all ages, and exhibited work must be appropriate for viewing by young children without parental guidance.

The PMAC Visual Art Committee and the Gallery Director create an annual schedule of exhibitions every February for the following September – August exhibition season.

Please do not call or email the gallery for decisions.

Notification of consideration will be made via email to each submitting artist at least three times per year: on or around September 1, January 1, and May 1.
All exhibiting artists are responsible for shipping and insuring their work. PMAC performs installation/de-installation and provides damage insurance while the artwork is on site.

Independent curators who wish to propose a group exhibition should:

“Wave” Kristin Breiseth

Wave is a collection of gelatin plate monotypes, monotype collages and experimental fabric work by artist Kristin Breiseth.  All explore the idea and imagery of the renewing energy of a wave.
Kristin Breiseth was born in California and grew up in New England. She received her BA in Religion and Women’s Studies from Dartmouth College and her BFA in Printmaking from the California College of the Arts. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and is in numerous private and corporate collections. She works out of Vernon Street Studios in Somerville, MA and teaches and chairs the Art Department at the Waring School in Beverly, MA.  www.seeartbykb.com

PMAC announces an open call for our juried exhibition, HEAT/WAVE, featuring digital art and photography. Images should evoke the theme of Heat | Wave.  Entrants may submit up to two images for juror review.
 
All styles of 2D artwork and photography–where digital processes of any kind were integral to the creation of the images–are acceptable. This call is international, open to all artists in all geographical locations. Local artists are encouraged to submit.
